Our low intensity red obstruction light RL 30 is a high quality light fitting, developed for long and trouble free operation. The product fulfils both Swedish and international requirements of safety in air traffic (ICAO and FAA).
Typical applications for RL30 are masts, towers, high buildings and chimneys.

 RL30 has a robust design with a minimum of maintenance intervals. The housing is made of electro-polished stainless steel and the cover of UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The high reliability of the obstruction light comes from more than 25 years of operation.
Tykoflex obstruction lights exist both as Halogen and LED (Light Emitting Diod). An option is that already installed halogen light fittings can be equipped with LED lamps.
RL 30 has a light intensity of at least 32,5 cd. The light is emitted -10° to +35° horizontal and straight upwards. The upward directed light is an option that differs Tykoflex obstruction light from our competitors. The upward directed light is essential for low flying aircrafts i.e. helicopters.
The aim for the design of Tykoflex obstruction lights is to have a product with the highest possible reliability. All included parts of the design have a high durability in order to resist thermal, chemical and mechanical stress.
